My goals for 2015 ... 2014 was a pretty big year for us, we got married and bought our first house so 2015 has a lot to live up to. Instead of setting unrealistic or immeasurable resolutions I have decided to set my self a few small goals that I can actually achieve and measure the results. Once I have completed them I can set some more and keep growing through the year instead of wading towards a light at the end of the tunnel.
Visit family more.
As I noted in my round up of 2014 my first goal is to see my family more. This year I am really going to make it a priority to go across and visit my family when we go down to Surrey in the summer.
Improve my cardio.
I spent a lot of time at the gym last year but due to shift changes we have had to cancel our membership so I am going to invest in a workout DVD for now then get the weights out in the garden when the weather improves. My cardio is very bad and I am not a fan of running so I am going to try some different bits to up my cardio.
Drink more water at work.
I did really well with this before the wedding but since training in a new area of work I have let myself get distracted from drinking my water during the day at the expense of my skin which is breaking out.
Take better care of my skin.
I have started this one already after my mum bought me the No7 skin care set for my birthday but I am going to make sure I get back to exfoliating regularly and drinking moved water.
I absolutely adore reading, I can quite happily sit on the sofa and read all day but I have found my self reading less and less. At first this was due to reading for uni then when I started work I needed to be up early but I am a night owl so can't read before bed as I don't want to stop. During the day I try to spend time with J as he works shifts so we don't get regular time off together but I need to get back to it. I think the easiest way to break into this one is to take my book to work or lunch time, I tend to eat while I work but earlier in the year I started taking my book and reading while I ate to relax in the run up to the wedding, it was really nice so I think I will get back to that.
Finish the House.
We want to paint the bathrooms, add a shelf to the linen cupboard, get hooks and a shelving unit for the utility room, plant up the boarder, gravel the other boarder and get some more paving slabs for the patio.
Finally ... Have fun!!
We spent a lot of time last year planning, organising and moving, whilst that was all fun it was also very stressful at times. So this year we are going to take some us time and have some fun. The first thing we are doing is going to see the Foo Fighters in April the we are going to get away in May on a long overdue honeymoon/anniversary trip.
xXx
